U.S. Department of Education regulations require disclosures to students enrolled in, or considering programs leading to professional licensure or certification, whether the program is on-campus or online.

These disclosures fall into two categories:

The program curriculum meets educational requirements for licensure or certification in your state.

The program curriculum does not meet educational requirements for licensure or/certification in your state.

For the avoidance of doubt, UConn does not represent that satisfactory completion of UConn’s program will result in licensure in any state. The applicable licensing board may impose additional requirements on candidates prior to granting a license (e.g., passing of an exam; obtaining a certificate; performing clinical hours; etc.), and we encourage you to investigate those requirements.
